Roofing work continues at High Pines this week.

 Next week see the sarking being fitted and the tiling commence.

Week 21: The roof trusses go up

It's around the half way point on the project and the roof build has commenced this week. 

It's good to see the house 'full size' for the first time.  

It's also good to see the joiners working during the traditional Easter holiday for the building trade.

Week 20: The roof trusses have arrived on site

The big news this week is:
1) It's Easter;
2) The brickies are now finished with the block work, and
3) The roof trusses have now arrived on site.


We'll soon be able to 'put a lid' on the house and April should be a big month, including getting the windows fitted and making the house watertight.


On the downside is that after a replan - mainly down to poor weather - it now looks the house won't be completed until late August  : (
